Identification Restriction

You can hide your telephone number so it does not show when you make calls.  Monaco Telecom offers three ways to hide your identity.

Identification restriction per call for analogue lines (not using La BOX):

Dial 3651 followed by the number you want to call. The party will not see your number. The service is available for all types of telephone (musical keys).

Flexible identification restriction:

Just activate the service once, and you can make several calls with your ID hidden. You can also show your telephone number for several calls by deactivating the service once.

To enable identification restriction:
Dial *31#. A message informs you that your request has been taken into account. You can now hang up and use your telephone as usual. Parties will no longer be able to see your number.

To disable identification restriction:
Dial #31#. A message informs you that your request has been taken into account. You can now hang up and use your telephone as usual to make calls. Parties will be able to see your number again.

To check if your number is hidden:
Dial *#31#. If you hear a steady dial tone or a message, this means your number is hidden.  If you hear a busy signal, this means parties will see your telephone number.

Permanent identification restriction:

You may ask Monaco Telecom to never show your telephone number for all your calls.
This service is free, but it requires a 6-month minimum commitment. Contact Customer Service to activate the option.
